Jalepeno On A Stick?

I’ve washed my hands a few dozen times since I made dinner last night. I swear.

I just scratched my lip with my thumb nail and now it is on fire…

My lip, not my thumb nail.

I really hope that I don’t forget and accidentally rub my…

eyes… again.

Or anything else for that matter… can you imagine?

How long does it take for jalepeno residue to completely go away?

I hate it when that happens ;) A friend of mine taught me a good trick, before chopping up a jalapeno, rub your fingers with some olive oil!

I think this is one of those gazillion things vinegar is good for. Try washing well with soap, then douse your hands with vinegar, then wash with soap again…see if the jalapeno-ness is gone - LOL!

(I hope that works and you don’t just exchange jalapeno-hand for vinegar-hand LOL)

PS Could you blogroll me please? I am trying to work my way up the ecosystem LOL

baba I’m willing to try anything… although, I can honestly say this is probably the ultimate way to break a nail biting habit. LOL

Marti So, I’m thinking I’ll rub my fingers in olive oil, chop up the jalepeno and then use vinegar to scrub my hands. At the very least I’ll smell like a wonderful salad dressing. LOL

PS. I wouldn’t do this for just anyone - but for you… OK! ;o)
    lol

tj Oh yes… isn’t that awful just to think about? I don’t think that level of heat is what any of those companies with “warming” products would actually be going for, ya know? ;o)

OOOO, Thems harsh words. LOL. It sounds like a conversation we would have in our house. We have lots of the nunyas running around our place too.

Bonanza No kidding… and Kate seems to have a million observations just like that. ;o)

Crazy Lady I love it when kids start forming their own opinions of things… most of the time anyway. ;o)

    Very very good for her!!!

As for the presents, it’s sickening in our house. I have to wait until the day before Christmas to shop because I can’t keep a secret for longer than a day. If I’m asked, I’ll tell :-)

tj Isn’t that cool? She just cracks me up. I didn’t name her after Katherine Hepburn for nothing!

I’m so glad I am not the only one who is incapable of keeping a secret! I stink at this secret Christmas gift stuff. The only consolation I have found is to tell everyone what I have bought everybody else… then at least someone knows and the gifts still remain a secret for the recipient. LOL
