Tug At a time like this everyone just wanted to do something and given distances and certain anonymity factors – this at least was a way for all of us to do something.

DutchBitch I think this is something that every parent is terrified of and when we hear about it happening to someone else, it just does something to us, regardless of whether you know someone personally or not. It’s amazing to see so many people feel that same way.

Matthew Thank you and please give my thanks to Sue as well. Everyone pulling together like this certainly gives us all a little more faith in humanity.

Thank you for doing the graphics… you and the entire blogsphere seem to proving that indeed, the human race can be a wonderful thing when we adhere to the better angels of our nature.

I don’t know NYC Watchdog personally, but have heard of him and visited his blog a few times. But that don’t matter in a situation like this. Bloggers should pull together in situations like this, no matter what! Have been over to Avi’s and bought some of your great graphics and put them up at my blog in a post and the sidebar.

It’s just horrific what he has to go through right now. Incomprehensible…

Crazy My thoughts as well. Unfair doesn't even begin to describe this. My heart absolutely aches for him. Tense Thank you, to you and Geek both, you guys are wonderful. Jane In a situation like this, you just feel so helpless. It's not enough, it could never be, but, at least it's something. Poppy Thank you, sincerely, thank you. Judy It's funny how things like this bring people together regardless of backgrounds, differences, or whether you've ever met face to face. Compassion seems to just be a very natural emotion. Rich Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. No parent should ever have to go through this, I think I've said that a few dozen times today. It's just not natural and not right.
