Obnoxious, isn’t it?
As you read this I am probably tearing down the tent around the rest of the sleeping family. I’m all for the outdoors, I don’t mind camping (in a decent campground), but more than 2 days is a bit much for me so no doubt I am in a hurry to get home and fondle my keyboard.
But, who knows what the weekend will bring.
As I write this (on Friday) I have a pile of work unfinished, packing left, and cleaning to do. Walking into a dirty house would ruin the weekend for sure!
Hopefully I’ll have tons of pictures to bore you with and maybe Maggie won’t try to snorkel sans equipment and wet suit this time.
And, getting this trip out of the way means I am just that much closer to a relaxing weekend away with some shopping, restaurants, and lovely hotel room preferably with a fireplace.

You mean, when you go stay at a hotel, you’re not going to bring the kids with you? How will you be able to stand it?
And yeah, I wasn’t being a very good Amy substitute. I tried, though.
I’ve been away for the weekend. Not camping but in a cottage that was just in the “blind” spot in between 4 (FOUR!!!) WiFi connections on the island… Trust me to be in the internet blind spot… Fuck!
