Adventures In Camping Pt. 1

Posted By AmyD. on September 12, 2007

Don’t you just love those stories when parents or families come home from a vacation with special memories and how they had these magical moments with their kids? I had a moments like that this weekend.

Kate, for the first time in what seems like years, giggled and belly laughed like a 5 year old again!

A breathless Kate arrives back at the campsite after having walked with a lantern in the dark to help her father wash dishes after dinner.

*afore mentioned giggling*

Kate: *giggle* *giggle*

Me: What?

Kate: I almost made dad cut his finger off! *giggle* *giggle*

Me: Uhh, honey, did Daddy cut himself?

Kate:
*giggle* *giggle* I don’t know! I ran off with the lantern.

Me:
:o mg: Your father is out in the dark with knives?!?!?!

Dishwashing Dorks

And now for more giggles and amusement visit me over at the ‘Stache for a totally different post!

When I first saw that picture, I thought it was Maggie with a little facial hair and a hat standing there with Katie. Their resemblance is uncanny!
