A Drunk Midget Walks Into A Bar

Disclaimer Yes, I have read the latest studies on cold meds and kids, blah blah, I do keep up with all that stuff. Just take this post for what it is. Thank you.
Sooooo, Ethan was sick last week and he gave the disease to his sister. This is what you get for teaching your children to share.
Maggie has kept me up for a few nights straight and I’m pretty much a brainless zombie. In fact, she shared the disease with me and now I cannot stand 2 out of 3 of my children.
I put Maggie on Robitussin because her nose – she can’t breathe. And,the next thing I know – she’s dancing around the house like she’s just had several, several shots of tequila. She was picking fights and we aren’t 100% sure but most of the household believes that she called her father a bitch. Twice.
She accused Ethan of stealing her peanut butter and jelly sandwich that she had eaten HOURS before. She spoke in some alien language and pointed her finger and yelled. Twice she walked over to a large pilates ball and attempted to lean on it which resulted in it rolling away and her landing on the floor. When we finally wrangled her upstairs (not unlke a drunk friend) she stripped off naked and demanded a bubble bath WITH candles.
We ignored her…
and she flopped out on the bed with a Dora Halloween book… still naked.
Then she bounced on the bed naked… until we finally got her clothes back on her – which she screamed were WET (they were not) and she passed out.
Maggie with a cold is a lot like living in a frat house. Only there are fewer boys, no togas, and never enough alcohol.

You’ll be pleased to know that at the age of 29 Robitussin still has a very similar effect on me!! Mmmmm, I love that stuff!
a) I’m curious which of your children you like… I’m guessing Ethan, but really rooting for Kate on this one. Something about that girl…
b) I am laughing. I have no pity. 75% of what you just described is Emma. Sans meds.
I’m such a good friend.
SO – Ha! Lucky you!
Miss B – Kate. She’s not sick, she hasn’t given me a cold, and she makes the best tuna sandwiches ever. (Next to my mom)
And why don’t you have this craziness on video? That sounds hilarious, and I’m very glad that I didn’t have to deal with it!
What? That sounds like a normal night in our household.
Avi – There is never a video camera around when you need it.
Crazy – :lmao:
Bwahahahahahahahahaha and I’m with Avi: next time tape it!
I’d like to party with Maggie. In 15 years or so, of course.
