Check out the new look! Yeah, I know it’s not even Thanksgiving yet, but really, I’m not going to have time to mess with this and I will be damned if I am not going to have a Christmas template this year! This template was actually inspired by the garland I put on my banister every year, I have little bows in black and white polka dots and glittery holly leaves, berries, etc. It feels good to have it back in working order again. I even rescued the majority of my archives! I’ve lost all of September and October, I’m afraid, still at least it appears to be running smoothly now.
We had an interesting weekend trying to get some projects around the house completed, cleaning things out, getting things hung up or fixed, etc. It’s supposed to rain this weekend… I’m hoping at the very least we’ll be able to buy our tree and decorate it. There is just no way we’ll be able to decorate outside if it storms! Not that I am beyond making Ethan and Mike hang lights in the rain. Just not hard rain. :sly:

“Boys! I made you some hot chocolate, now finish stringing those lights on the house and you can have some. Hurry! You don’t want it to get cold and mommy needs those lights hung!”

I love the Christmas look! We always put our tree up the weekend after Thanksgiving, because Brenden’s birthday is Dec 1st. This way his birthday doesn’t feel like it is smushed in with Christmas. But I have to admit. The bug has hit me. I was so tempted this morning after I cleaned the living room to get down the Christmas boxes and get started! :groovy:
