It’s been an awesome Friday! The weather is gorgeous… bright blue skies, clean fresh air, big puffy white clouds. It’s rained off and on for the last couple of days and boy, does this area clean up well!

The kids have had state testing all week, it’s been a bit grueling. They finished up yesterday so today I took them out at lunch time to take them to the movies. My mom skipped one of her college classes today and we all went to see Sahara.

I had my doubts… the reviews haven’t been all that flattering (not that I pay much attention to those reviews, I usually don’t agree with them much anyway) but this movie was GREAT! Really great! I plan to buy it as soon as it comes out on DVD. It’s definitely one we’d watch more than once.

I’m not a big Penelope Cruz fan… but I do really like Steve Zahn, Matthew McConaughey, and William H. Macy. They were all great – it had a lot of action and was a lot of fun. There’s a good reason it’s already grossed over 50 million and is #4 in the theaters.
