Yesterday it was all about hot dogs and their squishy factor. I know, I know I should have already put up something about Christmas how it was, how it went, who got what, pictures or SOMETHING!
Believe me, I wanted to.
I wanted to include pictures and tell you how this Christmas was awesome and that my husband bought me a beautiful pair of gold hoops and that the kids were very happy. I wanted to talk about Mike’s phenomenal smoked salmon and lamb roast.
Then I wanted to tell you how it was awesome when Tim surprised us with a visit! He fought his way out of snow and ice to come down here!!! Oh, and how Maggie sounded like she found Santa Claus coming out of the chimney when she saw Tim walk in.
But, I can’t because I wanted to post pictures and those pictures are still on my camera.
Liza Jane (the freaking cat) ATE my USB cord for my camera. This is only a couple of weeks after she chewed through the charger cord to my cell phone!
No USB cord… no pictures.
So, I ordered one. It should be here soon. Along with my new cell phone charger.
Damn cat.

Take the old cord, expose the wire, plug it in, and surround it with catnip. The resulting shock that the cat will receive should warn it away from any future nibbling.
Liza Jane must be long lost cousins of my Lola. She is forever chewing things up!
Can’t wait for the pictures!
And that is why our Christmas tree has already been taken down and put away. Our damn cat likes to chew on cords too.
Kapgar – this is where I should have mentioned that she prefers them plugged in when she chews on them. :doh:
Sandi – Hahahaha! Liza almost seems to be picky about the cords she chooses.
Lisa – This is the first cat I have had who chews on electrical cords. It drives me bonkers!
I think I’ll trade your cord eating cat for my underwear snacking dog. Really, purchasing underwear every week is getting old! Fricking thing!

LOL! This year we had no lights and no ornaments after our two darling kitties decided to wap the hell out of the tree! This was their first Christmas. What did our darling dogs do? Oh… they just watched and fetched the ornaments!

Mindy – Oh good grief!! My cats weren’t too bad with the tree, I mean, they napped under it non-stop but other than that they were well behaved, if you don’t count the cord chewing and whatnot.

Well, at least you took photos. After the festivities, I realized that I didn’t take one single photo this Christmas. Except for Chi Chi 2.0 under the tree.
I need to get my priorities in order.
